Very common sense and based on good research.
- Avoid saturated fat. Don't be afraid of unsaturated fat.
- Eat plenty of vegetables.
- eat whole grains
- Stay away from refined starches, sugars and potatoes.
- Beef has saturated fat, bird less so, fish is unsaturated.
- Exercise 30 minutes a day
- Sleep 8 hours a day.
- Limit alcohol to 1 or 2 drinks a day.
- Watch your weight.
